Description

Carrying Bag

The Modular 80 set comes with a nylon 600D padded bag with carry handle and will accommodate different length fuselages and masts from 60cm to 100cm, meaning the bag length is easily adjusted with the internal strap. The mounting plate and screws also fit inside the bag.

Foilers who own boards with the Tuttle box system will be pleased to learn that NSP offers a tuttle box adapter that will also fit in the bag, giving your quiver the best possible protection when outside of the water.

Airwave Modular 80 parts

Airwave Modular 70 option

There is another NSP Modular set available in the NSP range (the original Airwave Modular 70 set), which can be easily distinguished by its color and mast length. While the new Modular 80 features matte black 80cm mast and 70cm fuselage, while the original Modular 70 set features a bright ionized, orange 70cm mast and 70 fuselage.

Key difference in the fuselage

While both Modular sets feature the 70cm fuselage, the orange fuselage allows rear wings to be mounted at the bottom of the fuselage, accommodating our original rear wings.

However, the new 70cm black fuselage is only compatible with the new 330 Flat, 340 M, 245 High Apsect, and Riblet rear wings, which are top-mounted on the fuselage.

Mast length

The NSP Airwave Modular 80 comes with an 80cm mast (black), and the Modular 70 comes with a 70cm mast (orange). Note: All NSP masts are interchangeable with the orange or black 70 fuselage.

Compatibility

  • All V1 & V2 front wings compatible with orange and black fuselage
  • All V1 & V2 masts compatible with orange and black fuselage
  • Only V1 rear wings compatible with orange fuselage
  • Only V2 rear wings compatible with black fuselage
