As a young Pacific islander. Titouan Puyo was born in Rapa, French Polynesia, and lived very close to the sea since his early childhood. After numerous sailing trips with his parents and brother, his family dropped the anchor in New Caledonia.

In 2003, in the wake of his brother, Titouan trained hard on the outrigger canoe and as a result, he ended up champion of New Caledonia and his love for the ocean was secured. In the outrigger canoe category, Titouan added several wins under the flag of the « cagou » endemic bird of New Caledonia and mascot of the local Olympic Committee: Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia, The United States, Cook Islands, France and Portugal.

To complete his love for the Ocean, Titouan began practicing other watersports such as surfing, windsurfing, surf skiing… and in 2011 Stand Up Paddling and then in 2019 foiling.

After his title in 2013 as the French Champion in the 12’6 long distance SUP race, 3rd place in the Beach Race and 3rd place at the famous nautic SUP PARIS CROSSING, Titouan decided to start a real career in SUP racing.

The Frenchman from New Caledonia and world number 5, at the time,  signed with Team NSP in 2016. Titouan joined team rider Travis Grant, board designers Alain Teurquetil and Dale Chapman and his friend and NSP France national team rider Vincent Verhoeven.

Titouan was especially proud of his World championship win supporting the French Team in Nicaragua, but has since been able to rack up 6x French champion, 3x European champion, 2x World Champion and many wins on the main stage at the Carolina cup, Euro Tour, and in Australia.

Keep an eye on Titouan, he is not finished yet and will be training hard to come out strong in the 2021 season, both in SUP racing and SUP foiling (he’s already got a 4th place finish on his belt at the Fort Boyard Challenge)
