Airwing Technical Features
• A refined shape design for balanced power and efficiency
• Leading-edge profile and dihedral shape deliver efficient twist dynamics
• Oversized and segmented leading-edge for rigidity (10 segments on the 6m² and 5m² & 8 on the 4m² and 3m²)
• Tapered wing tips aid twist, reduce swing weight and windage.
• The strut and leading-edge tips are reinforced with light and durable PVC wear patches, while the tips on the NSP Airwing are protected by longer wear strips and reinforced TPU wear pads on the corners.
Boston high-volume valve
Nobody likes to spend more time rigging up and down than neces- sary. A light-weight, high-diameter “Boston” valve allows for efficient deflating and inflating.
Smart one-pump design
A single point inflation System gets you on and off the water faster, and allows you to tune the pressure between leading edge and strut.
Hardcore Wingtip reinforcements
Especially for rough surfaces, TPU strips reinforce the wingtips, finished off with vulcanized PVC.
2-ply reinforced trailing edge
Additional 2-ply strips and triple stitching protect the trailing edge from stretching, wear and tear or potential ripping.
Premium comfortable handles
Comfortable handles on the strut and on the leading edge allow for hours of rider comfort and gives the ability to tune the sheeting angle. The center leading edge handle is placed as neutral as possible, and allows for complete depowering and control while you focus on carving, downwinding and surfing.
By strategically placing an additional foiled strip of rip-stop material between the strut and the wing canopy, the Airwing boasts a smooth preset profile that powers up early and maintains shape under all circumstances.
Strategically placed TPU strips dramatically increase durability while keeping the wing light.
Notice the subtle dihedral design, helping to create a stable wing, even in overpowered conditions.
Magazine test by WingSurf (special edition)
translated from French: Easy “one pump” inflation for this NSP with a wide tube connector connected to the central axis but the screw valve system is unique and the nozzle supplied is not really standard with all pumps.
When inflated, there is a relatively thick leading edge and centerline. The general design is similar to the Korvenn: a little slim, moderately hollow but with a more taut blade (canopy?!). The wing also features 3 round handles on the leading edge and 5 aligned on the central flange.
The construction is quite light but the end caps are reinforced with kevlar patches, as are the tips which also incorporate rigid PVC plastic reinforcements on the corners. Two PVC windows are placed on either side of the central axis. No quick deflation valve. The NSP Airwing appears rather well balanced and quite light from the start, with very comfortable handles, well connected and well placed.
At the 4.0 size we found the NSP Airwing to lack power at the lower end for heavier riders, but light ones should do fine. Its acceleration is not surprising nor twitchy and fun to ride with a healthy overall handling. Handling works in overpowered conditions too. We’re missing a neoprene pad under the central handle of the leading edge, as your knuckles will be in direct contact with the seams in neutral mode.
Even if the windows are on the narrow side of things, they can still be useful for beginners. The NSP Airwing offers a good compromise for riers looking for an easy wing to cruise with and to progress on.

Additional Info and Replacement Parts
Get going immediately…
Out of the bag, the Airwing is ready for action. First, secure the supplied leash to the leading edge. Using the low-profile valve, inflate your Airwing to a pressure no higher than 7psi. Find more information on how to setup your Airwing by downloading a short manual here.
By using one-pump technology, leading edge and centre-strut inflate together, forming a strong, flex-resistant frame. The supplied pump adapter will fit common Halkey Roberts pump nozzles, used for high-end inflatable products. *Pump sold separately
Lift off by giving it a few shoulder rotations, some light board pumps, and off you go. Once flying, the Airwing feels fast, balanced and can easily be tuned for power by moving your back hand between the ultra-comfy handles that run the full length of the centre-strut. Match the Airwing with an NSP SUP Foil Pro and NSP Airwave and start covering serious distances.

REPLACEMENT PARTS & MAINTENANCE
Designed to maintain its shape in all circumstances, the Airwing is stiff and features a clamped valve making sure you can recover your equipment in case of a leak. If you run into any issues, NSP offers replacement leading edge bladders, strut bladders and air valve adapters here.
