Duna Gordillo started paddleboarding at the tender age of 9, racking up 10 years of practice whenever the conditions allowed.

Living on the Balearic island of Mallorca, opportunities were plentiful and Duna is racking up wins and podium finishes ever since she started competing.

“I have always lived very close to the sea, and for this reason, I have had it very easy. I started with all my teammates and for me, it was like a game. As the years passed and we began to compete, it became a discipline thing for me, and every day I made sure I trained a little harder.

What I like the most about training is being with all my friends and doing what I like the most, which is paddling. Plus, I have had the opportunity to get into surfing as well and I like it more and more.”
