BIO

Miriana Mangialasche was born in Perugia, a small city in the center of Italy without the sea but with a lake called Trasimeno.

Miriana started practising SUP by chance when she was on holiday in Tuscany with her family, she tried it and immediately fell in love with this sport. After that she found out that in Trasimeno lake there was a sup school called Trasimeno SUP and she started training there with her first instructor Cristian Bottausci, she competed a week after her first training.

Miriana started paddling on the 28th of May 2021 when she was 12 and soon after competed for the Italian “Under 16” female’s title. Miriana travels about 40 kilometres every day to go to the lake, sometimes she goes to Piombino (Tuscany) to train in different conditions. Miriana trains 6 times a week and her coach is Riccardo Rossi who trains her remotely.
