BIO

Young Gun, Bodie Von Allmen, was born in San Francisco, California, and currently resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon.  A born waterman, Bodie started surfing shortly after taking his first steps.  Living on Oswego Lake for most of his life, Bodie began wakeboarding, wake surfing, and stand-up paddling at an early age. He developed a deep love for paddling at nine years old and has been racing competitively ever since.

Bodie excelled quickly in the SUP racing community. When he was 10 years old, he started traveling to and competing in some of the biggest events on the West Coast, including the Pacific Paddle Games in Dana Point, California, and the Gorge Paddle Challenge in Hood River, Oregon.

When Bodie was 15 years old he stepped up to the men’s professional division competing with the “Top Dogs” in the sport at key races including the Gorge Paddle Challenge, the ICF World Championships in Hungary, the Carolina Cup, and his first event on the APP World Tour, the U.S. SUP Open in Santa Monica.

Since then, paddling has taken Bodie to an ICF World Cup in Oklahoma City; Gdynia, Poland for the ICF World Championships; San Juan, Puerto Rico for the ISA World SUP & Paddle Board Championships; and Paris, France for APP Paris – with lots of fun stops across the United States in between.  Aside from his love of paddling, Bodie enjoys making friends with fellow paddlers and surfers around the globe.

As much as Bodie loves to race and compete, his favorite paddle is his daily training regimen each morning on Oswego Lake.  When Bodie is not paddling, he loves to surf, foil and wakeboard. He has a true passion for watersports and is always in search of a new challenge.
