Disciplines: SUP Racing
Sponsors: NSP, Quickblade, 226ERS

From the Mediterranean coastal city of Alicante, Sergio started
practising many sports from a very young age and showed his passion
and love for competition since then. However none of the sports he
tried before was similar to SUP and it wasn’t until 2020 when he got
started in water sports at Club Deportivo Parres, organizer of one of
the most important races of the last years, the World Sup Festival.

Not long after that Sergio became really passionate about the ocean
and all the activities that could keep him close to it such as SUP
surfing, surfing, wingfoil and windsurfing but he fastly shown his
special love for SUP racing and started training harder since summer
of 2021. Coached by waterman Daniel Parres and multiple world champion
coach Vincent Guillaume allowed him to improve a lot and be able to
stay at the top level in the junior category for his first two years
of competition in 2022 and 2023.

He has been fighting for the top spots in junior achieving two ICF
world titles and several wins and podiums in the big and competitive
Spanish racing fields. Now he faces one of his biggest challenges
since he started his SUP athlete career as he makes the jump to the
highest category, the open class.
