NSP is excited and proud to announce that we are teaming up with Sarah Tiefenthaler. Well-known within the community of SUP-yoga, Sarah hosts events, clinics, workshops and educates other practitioners, helping them becoming certified instructors as well.
Central to the SUP-yoga community, Sarah has helped the growth of SUP-yoga immensely, hosting both paddle clinics and floating Vinyasa classes from two Los Angeles locations. We couldn’t think of a better ambassador who can help us develop our Lotus boards even further and promote the beautiful sport of SUP-yoga.
In addition to running her own company, YOGAqua, Sarah is also a presenter at Wanderlust, a festival that’s been running for ten strong years now. If you’ve never been, we highly recommend checking them out too. (First event in 2019 is on O’ahu end of February btw)

Sarah completed her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in the tropical jungles of Costa Rica, where she focused on the philosophy of Yoga as well as meditation practices. When she returned to Los Angeles, she completed her second 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification, expanding her knowledge of human anatomy and alignment in relation to Yoga.
NSP’s CocoMat Lotus and the NSP Bamboo Adjustable – perfect for SUP yoga
Having used a variety of SUP boards over the years and being well-aware of what the different manufacturers put out there, we are proud to have Sarah using and endorsing the Lotus in Environment-friendly CocoMat construction.
Lightweight and strong, the CocoMat construction uses a waste product from organic coconut farms, adding some sustainability to an already great product. Available in two lengths, the NSP CocoMat Lotus really is a perfect platform to experience SUP yoga for any yogi, regardless of size. The same goes for our Bamboo Adjustable paddle – easily adjustable, it adapts to anyone’s height.
Where can you experience SUP yoga with Sarah?
Sarah hosts regular classes, events and workshops which are conveniently listed on her website, and she will often post dates and reminders on her Instagram as well, so we recommend following her IG channel for exercises, dates and great yoga imagery in general.
Sarah also offers four yoga teacher courses a year (see below). The first one is held at Wanderlust on O’ahu. All courses include 40 hours of SUP Yoga Certificate,
Level 1 WPA Certification, CPR/AED Certification and 4 YOGAqua Classes.
