BIO
Iona Rivet is a daughter of a sailor of the French national navy (Martial). When she was young, her dad put her on his surfboard. She was just elated by this sport. She started swimming at 6 years old and that’s when her love for the water started.
Iona loves to surf on the slow wave to appreciate a long dance on her longboard and for the SUP racing, her mother enrolled her in an internship at Stand Up Paddle. She immediately hooked up with this sport. She felt like SUP brings together; the glide, the physical effort, and the discovery of a new place where she has never imagined going to.
She started competing the year after during a French cup and she never stopped.
