Short & Fish Construction

The NSP Shortboards and Fishes are manufactured with a super durable E2 Epoxy construction.  We start with a high density 30 grams per liter Secure Cell E.P.S. core and a specially designed light weight, fiberglass mat and laminate them together with an expanding epoxy resin.  This expansion creates a “micro sandwich” which helps give additional impact strength to the deck and bottom of the board.

Lastly, the rails of the board are hand glassed with an additional layer of fiberglass reinforcement after the molding process.  The additional fiberglass/epoxy in this critical area of the board will protect from seam splits and rail dings.

The Shortboards feature a real pro-look with the hand wet-sanded, Performance Finish.  The Fishes receive the classy Hybrid finish which combines shiny, polished rails and logos, with a wet-sanded, Performance Finish deck and bottom for increased board speed.
