NSP Funboards are manufactured with a super durable E2 Epoxy construction.  We start with a Secure Cell E.P.S. core and a specially designed light weight, fiberglass mat and laminate them together with an expanding epoxy resin.  This expansion creates a “micro sandwich” which helps give additional impact strength to the deck and bottom of the board.  The decks of the 7’2” and larger sizes also combine lengthwise Uni-Fiber Strips which add tensile strength.

Lastly, the rails of the board are hand glassed with an additional layer of fiberglass reinforcement after the molding process.  The additional fiberglass/epoxy in this critical area of the board will protect from seam splits and rail dings.  A noticeable weight reduction has also been achieved in the Funboards due to continuous improvements in the laminating process.

The Funboards receive the classy Hybrid finish which combines shiny, polished rails and logos, with a wet-sanded, Performance Finish deck and bottom for increased board speed.
